Page 1 is what to do, week by week, from now until Christmas Eve. Page 2 has lists for presents, stockings, the food shop and cards.

What's on it

  • Now, early November: who you're buying for, a budget, who's hosting, and the card list.
  • Late November: the main presents, anything personalised, and a food delivery slot or the turkey.
  • Early December: decorations, cards, overseas post and the menu.
  • The week before: wrapping, stockings, and the last 2nd Class post on Friday 18 December.
  • Christmas week: last 1st Class post Monday 21 December, last Special Delivery Wednesday 23 December, and Christmas Eve jobs.

Posting dates are for UK post, from Royal Mail's published Christmas 2026 dates (read on 28 October 2026). Check royalmail.com before posting anything important. All the dates are on our last posting dates page.
